Choo
Description:
- Choo is based on a replica of a 1960s bear, which I was commissioned to make a little while ago (see Gallery). The replica was made in brown mohair; I thought I would try Choo in black, to see if I could get a sort of 'spectacled bear' look. I'm not sure that worked, but he is a lovely, cheerful little bear.
- The mohair is medium-length, but very thick and smooth. His hands and feet, the stripe across his nose, and the inside of his ears, are all made from very,very short blonde mohair.
- He is firmly lock-nut jointed.
- He is filled entirely with heavy-fill polyester.
- He has blue German glass eyes, set against a white backing, no nose, and an open mouth made from red felt.

- Please note, he is a collectors' bear, and is NOT suitable for small children.
